Running for Charity by Globe

Globe Telecoms is spearheading a run for charity dubbed Globe Run for Home 2011.

The run for charity event is touted as the first biggest charity fun run of the year and will be held on March 27, 2011 at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.

I felt compelled to post this because I am advocating fitness and that I earn a few bucks by selling Globe Prepaid Load.

The charity fun run is open to all. The prizes will surely interest competitive runners while health buffs can enjoy running in groups and make it truly fun running for charity cause.

Proceeds of the event will be given to partner institutions; Gawad Kalinga, Habitat for Humanity, Haribon Foundation and Virlanie Foundation.

Kadugo Run - Advocacy Run for Mandaluyong Blood Donation Program

The Kadugo Run - an advocacy run for the benefit of the Mandaluyong Blood Donation Program - will be held on March 5, 2011 around the Mandaluyong City Hall.

This post is mainly for a few of my friends who are into running and fun runs, as their way of being healthy or keeping fit. While I have yet to fully grasp the fun in it, I am sure they would be interested in joining.
