Healthy Hearty but Late Lunch Today

Thursday, January 27, 2011

I had a late lunch today.

Yes it was a late one but I still feel it is a healthy hearty lunch just the same. :D

A bowl of oatmeal with milk & chocolate and one fresh banana.

I felt full after but somehow felt guilty for not breaking my abs-project-related resolution for this year.

Tonight is Century Tuna Night

Saturday, July 3, 2010

Today and everyday is century tuna day.

So says Derek Ramsay, another great-abs displaying hunk. He is practically talking to me. Saying that my workout regimen of breathing exercises and push-ups aren't enough.

That I should I try out century tuna because it will be good for my abs and heart.

Ms. Angel Locsin chimes in, that this delicious and Omega 3 DHA-packed century tuna is good for my mind, heart and body. Alright, I'm convinced! I sure want all that Omega 3 DHA especially those coming out of her. Quite effective indeed as my mind, heart and body are now active after seeing Ms. Locsin. Hehehe!!!

Dinner for tonight is decided. One century tuna vegetable oil, one medium-sized banana and only one serving of rice.

Am I saying then that "Tonight and every night is Century Tuna night"? Nah!

While my wallet would certainly rejoice with that, my stomach would certainly love to try out those other seafoods - Sabah Calamares, Ligo Sardines, etc - fresh from the can. :D

With my abs project pre-occupying my thoughts lately, a healthy meal like oatmeal seems a good fit for the project.

Anyway, I was really considering eating oatmeal today at the office for breakfast. In fact, last night I made sure I packed one ready-to-eat sachet of Quaker Oats instant oatmeal.

Oatmeal for breakfast
I just feel that eating it is a better alternative than just plain coffee or the usual hotsilog or tapsilog offered at the ground floor canteen. Much healthier, much cheaper and not so heavy on my current challenge - my big, big AB.

Unfortunately, there was no available cup or saucer in the pantry. :(

Tough luck. But Ma'am Norma (our HR boss) saved me from being famished ( Sab's word ). Two servings of pancit bihon & some chicken later, I forgot about oatmeals and diets or whatever and lay there in my seat rubbing my full belly in a blissful and content way.
